Chelsea Clinton Slammed in the Headlines

Whether one likes or dislikes Chelsea Clinton’s parents, it seems that Chelsea has become a very nice young woman for having grown up in the American political limelight. She continued her education through university, has a job and, for the most part, stays out of the mainstream press. One cannot blame her for not wanting to be part of the political discussion and maintaining her privacy wherever she can.

When a nine year old reporter asked Chelsea Clinton for a remark, Ms Clinton’s response was:

“…”I’m sorry, I don’t talk to the press and that applies to you, unfortunately. Even though I think you’re cute,” Chelsea told the pint-sized journalist.”

The link to this story reads: Chelsea Clinton Snubs 9-Year-Old. And some of the headlines about this encounter are even worse. It seems that, even when Ms Clinton does not speak, she makes headlines. Perhaps editors will consider some of the following headline suggestions to continue to slam Ms Clinton:

  • Chelsea Clinton’s Problem with Children
  • Chelsea Clinton Spoils a Child’s Evening
  • Does Chelsea Clinton Care About the Kid’s Feelings
  • Chelsea Clinton Takes a Lesson from the Grinch
  • Chelsea Clinton Does Not Talk to Kids

Undoubtedly, the nastier headlines have been written already and are waiting. Imagine how Ms Clinton would have been presented had she said anytime more than a polite and courteous “no”.
