It is a good news story. One may categorize it as a story of salvation. - Michael Gates Gill is an author. He wrote this book: “How Starbucks Saved My Life: A Son of Privilege Learns to Live Like Everyone Else”. It chronicles Mr Gill’s hard gained insights and his personal passage:
“…”That’s the magic of serving people an enjoyable experience,” Gill said, “is that you become very good friends with them, where you enjoy moments of laughter. They’re just precious seconds I realized almost too late in life those are the moments you can really savor most.”"

It is a good book. It is a reminder that often crises are opportunities in disguise. And putting on that green Starbucks apron was far more than having a job. For Mr Gill, it changed his life.

I LOVED your book and it is amazing how much your life at Starbucks parallels my current situation at Restoration Hardware! A former Creative Director myself, your book has provided me insight as well as inspiration and hope. Continued success to you Mr. Gill.
Sincerely,
Michael Kevin Lee
