NBA: It’s Tough to Be a Fan in These Cities

You may have this basketball programming in your area. It is the replay of classic NBA games from the past. It is a huge hit with basketball fans here and they gather together to watch games that they may have seen countless times. They know the sequence of plays and anticipate when special highlights will happen. These fans just love the sport.

For some fans of certain teams, it has been a rough season. The patience of fans in these three teams are being tested – severely:

3. Seattle – Will the Supersonics stay or will they go? Might this team be in Oklahoma City soon?

2. Minnesota – Kevin Garnett is doing well in Boston. Kevin McHale is still with the Timberwolves. What will Kevin McHale do next?

1. New York – The Knicks are wonderful for soap opera fans – not so wonderful for basketball fans.

On a positive note, the situation with the Knicks has started numerous pools about when Isiah Thomas will be terminated by the New York Knicks management. In one pool, I have the week of February 11, 2008 … the NBA All Star Weekend is February 15-17, 2008 in New Orleans.
