The Palm Beach County schools want to test their upgraded computer system. It is offering a challenge to hackers to compromise the security system:

“…Now they’re so confident the system is secure, they’re offering a free wireless router to anyone who can crack the code.”

It is not much of a reward for hackers who could find much more lucrative targets. However, one cannot underestimate the bragging rights. If the school district really wanted to test the computer security, some generous financial amount would have worldwide hackers interested.
