There are continual problems being reported with Google’s update of Gmail. Some people are reporting consistent crashes with their browser:

I am among the people who are experiencing a slow response in Gmail. It is excruciatingly slow - and a real disappointment from Google. The main suggestion has been to go back to the former version of Google. My concern is whether any mail has been lost through all this. If I am scorched by people complaining why their correspondence is not answered, then I will know…
