There will be an abundance of cranberries in American households this coming week. Here is a recipe for candied cranberries:
- four cups of cranberries - fresh or frozen whole cranberries
- three cups of sugar
- icing sugar
In a buttered baking dish, place the cranberries and sugar. Mix gently and cover the baking dish with a lid or tin foil. Bake at three hundred and fifty degrees for one hour. Stir the mix every twenty minutes. Remove the baking dish after an hour and allow the cranberries to cool. Remove the cranberries to a serving dish and sprinkle with icing sugar.
This is a sure-fire favorite with the kids.
