It’s Costly Being a Red Sox Fan

The good news for Red Sox fans is, of course, that their team is the reigning world champions. The bad news for Red Sox fans is that it is going to cost more - much more - to watch the Red Sox next year:

It is just expensive to be a fan and to attend a ball game. As costs tend to rise, it becomes increasingly more difficult for the average wage earner to afford to see a ball game in person. It may soon be a social economic indicator as to who has such disposal income to go to a game. The ‘cheap seats’ are expensive. Standing room remains a bargain for Red Sox fans: twenty five dollars.
