Aren’t healthy babies supposed to be round and chubby? - It seems that marketing has turned now to selling the concern that babies, as young as four months old, are too fat:
“Parents are taking babies as young as four months to special gyms amid growing fears about childhood obesity.
A US chain has signed up hundreds of babies and toddlers across London for “developmental gymnastics”.”

This focus on weight is insuring that the next generation of psychiatrists and psychologists will have an abundance of work, with patients concerned about body image. The number of cases of anorexia and bulimia should skyrocket.
What ever happened to a healthy diet, love and letting kids play? Instead, let’s tap into parental concerns and fears - ‘your toddler is showing signs of obesity’.
