Sky Gazing: Watching Discovery and the Space Station

If the weather in your location is kind, you might be able to spot the shuttle Discovery and/or the space station on Tuesday and Wednesday morning:

“…Weather permitting, there will be opportunities to see both the Discovery orbiter and the space station independently flying across the sky from many locations.

The sight should easily be visible to anyone, even from brightly lit cities.”

It is watching history and a reminder of how stellar this mission is. Discovery is expected to be back on the ground at the Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday - 1:02 PM EST. Let’s keep a good thought for Colonel Melroy and her crew.
