Locationbar² - A Firefox Security Extension

One of the techniques to ‘phish’ for your personal information is to send you to a spoofed site. It looks like the site that you want. However, the appearance is deceiving. The URL may lead you to a site designed specifically to collect your private information. One security measure is the Locationbar² extension in the Firefox browser. This will help identity addresses that have been spoofed:

Link: Locationbar

This is a wonderful add-on to provide a warning when you have wandered into dangerous territory. Sometimes, in a rush, it is too easy to be misled by how authentic looking the site is. Locationbar² will add another level of security.
