London: Stop and Search Zones for Knives

The police commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, would like to stop people from carrying knives in London:
“Anyone caught carrying a knife in London should be put in court and face the risk of being jailed, Britain’s most senior police officer said today.”

He hopes that stop and search zones can be established. - The United Kingdom had better start building more jails immediately. Countless number of people carry a pocket knife. On the all-in-one tool that is designed for maintaining and fixing bicycle problems, there is a knife. It’s in my backpack. Presumably, that would be a crime in London.
