In late September 2007, in the age of technology, an isolated Indian tribe was sighted in Peru’s Amazon. It is believed that there are many of these undocumented nomadic tribes in this area:

“…Carrying arrows and living in palm-leaf huts on the banks of the Las Piedras river, the tribe was glimpsed last week by researchers flying over the Alto Purus national park near the Brazilian border to look for illegal loggers.”

The exploration in the area is to harvest the natural resources, such as the timber and possible oil reserves. The ethical question is whether modern society has any right to encroach upon the home and life sustaining resources of these indigenous people. Perhaps this is a privacy issue, at a very essential level. And one variable intrudes - money.
