There is a reported problem with the calculations in Microsoft’s Excel 2007:

“…In a blog post, Microsoft employee David Gainer said that when computer users tried to get Excel 2007 to multiply some pairs of numbers and the result was 65,535, Excel would incorrectly display 100,000 as the answer.”

I just assume that the calculations are correct and have been going on with the work. Now I am hoping that the problem is limited because, if it is not, then there is a huge amount of rechecking to do - and to think of the amount of reporting that would have to be reviewed is just disheartening. Argh!
