If the weather co-operates, the next game for the U.S. women’s soccer team will be on Saturday. This will be the quarter finals and they will be facing the team from England. The English team cannot be taken lightly, especially with striker Kelly Smith. Ms Smith has four goals already in this tournament and she arguably is one of the top players in the world. The American defense has played superbly thus far and has provided wonderful support for American goalie Hope Solo. One of the keys to the upcoming game against England will be how well the American defense can mark Kelly Smith.
