The U.S. team has had unsteady starts in these World Cup matches but not against Nigeria. Now, the U.S. Women will advance in a match against England. One of the things that will catch the U.S. coach’s attention is the time of possession. The advantage there was to Nigeria - and the possession time will be a consideration going forward. This was a match under rain conditions and a very wet slippery field. For those who watched this in real time, it will be a sleep deprived day.
