Steve Jobs Does Not Disappoint

Steve Jobs is the master. It had been noted that many of the Apple iPhone purchasers were upset that there was a two hundred dollar reduction - shortly after they had paid full price. Steve Jobs has responded:
“Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs apologized and offered $100 credits Thursday to customers who shelled out $599 for the most advanced model of the iPhone, only to have the company unexpectedly slash the price $200 in a push to boost holiday sales.”

The Apple followers may not receive the full discount but they have an extra hundred dollars. And the perception management is that Steve Jobs will look after the Apple customers, even at the expense of the company. You must admit that it is brilliant.
Kudos, Mr Jobs - you did not disappoint.
