This is not the solid state drive - yet. It may be seen as a hybrid drive, with speed as a feature:

The initial price point for the 80 GB is approximately one hundred and thirty six dollars ($136.00). That is expensive when compared to what is the market price now for 80 GB - but without all that speed.
