Often, the good news stories do not receive enough media attention. It is unfortunate that this news item will receive far less coverage than the salacious, headline-grabbing sports stories. Steve Nash and Yao Ming have teamed up to raise money for Chinese children:

“…On September 14, in Beijing, Steve Nash, Carmelo Anthony, Greg Oden, Bonzi Wells, Derek Fisher, Baron Davis, Chuck Hayes, and Leandro Barbosa (all BDA clients, except Davis and Fisher) will play in a charity game against Yao Ming and the Chinese National team.”

And, in a few months, Steve Nash will dribble into, across and through the lane and make life absolutely miserable for Yao Ming. In their non competitive moments, they are really doing a wonderful thing. Kudos to Steve Nash, Yao Ming and the other NBA stars.
