College Linebacker: 59 Years Old

There are some news items that cross the article services that I see and think that it must be an error. At least, that’s what I thought when I saw this story. Sul Ross State University has a fifty nine (59) year old linebacker:
“…Flynt is giving new meaning to being a college senior. After all, he’s a grandfather and a card-carrying member of AARP. He’s eight years older than his coach and has two kids older than any of his teammates.”
