Renewal Necessary for the Pennsylvania ‘Do Not Call’ List

Registration on ‘do not call’ lists is not permanent. To maintain one’s privacy from annoyances like telemarketing calls, a renewal to remain on the list is necessary every five years. The people who signed onto the list initially in Pennsylvania are due for re-registration:

“…Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbitt said the registry, which his office maintains, currently includes nearly 4 million phone numbers, and about half of them signed up within a few weeks of when the law took effect five years ago.”

There is a website for the Pennsylvania Do Not Call List. The renewal can be done quickly. If you are registered on other ‘do not call lists’, you may want to check to see when your renewal time is.
