For someone who like to have tight control of his professional sport, the referee gambling allegations must be an absolute nightmare for NBA Commissioner David Stern. His assessment is as follows:
“…”I’ve been involved with the NBA for 40 years in some shape or form, and I can tell you that this is the most serious situation and worst situation that I have ever experienced, either as a fan of the NBA, a lawyer for the NBA or as a commissioner of the NBA,” Stern said.”

What characterizes the mood of local basketball fans is simply anger. There is no positive spin to these allegations. It is just bad.

Hi Mr. Stern,
I’m a life long NBA fan and my Favorit team is LA LAKERS. Last game we played was vs the sonics and what i’m very very upset about is the nba offical name BRIAN FORTE. He called two tech. fouls on Kobe even though kobe should have gotten the foul call in his favor. Just because some officals like to dictate the game to be in some kind of power trip.
I did not appricate the fact that that Brian Forte was soooooo unfair. You should check this stupid ref. in his place or even investigate him.
