The Yahoo! Toolbar Is Annoying

I tried the Yahoo! Toolbar. It allows tab browsing with Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6.0. The tab feature is a nice idea but the tab is very restrictive. “The new tab navigates to Yahoo! Search; from there you can navigate using your IE Favorites/bookmarks.” The tab can only open in Yahoo! Search.

There is no option to exercise your preferences. For example, I cannot open a new tab that shows my home page.
I uninstalled the Yahoo! Toolbar.
