The Final Chapter for Harry Potter

The date to remember is July 21. That is when the last book in J.K. Rowling’s series will be on bookshelves in stores around the world:

“…there is another group of Harry Potter fans who, while probably queuing in the same bookshops in the first hours of the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, are quieter, but nonetheless more deep-rooted in their allegiance to the boy wizard.

They are the Harry Potter generation — teenagers and young adults aged between 15 and 20 whose late childhood and early adolescence has spanned the years of J. K. Rowling’s fantasy phenomenon.”

No matter what the critics say, the fans of J. K. Rowling’s work and the fan of Harry Potter will want the book. And that is wonderful. In the age of iPhone and e-everything, there is still magic in holding a book in one’s hands, turning the pages and allowing the imagination to soar.
