It seems that Miss New Jersey, Amy Polumbo, is being blackmailed:

“Reigning Miss New Jersey Amy Polumbo told reporters Thursday that someone has threatened to go public with years-old, not salacious pictures of her if she doesn’t give up her crown.”

In the internet age, does anyone really care? - Even ‘non salacious’ photos can be tweaked with programs such as Photoshop. It does seem, though, that the beauty pageant circuit is not a place for the timid.
