The Miss America contest is not something that usually catches my attention. However, this coming year might be an exception. I’ll be cheering for Miss Utah:
“…Sgt. Jill Stevens is a combat medic with the 211th Aviation Group. She deployed to Afghanistan in 2004. “Loved every minute of it,” she says. “There’s been some hard times, but it has taught me a lot. You’ve got to grow and learn from everything…Taking care of soldiers whenever they got sick. We did get rocket attacked often. Took care of shrapnel wounds and did a lot of IVs.”"

Sergeant Jill Stevens is photogenic and she can save your life. That would be a terrific representative for a country.

Hello,
I am with the Bates Elementary School PTA in North Ogden. We would like Miss Utah to attend our Health and Safety Fair for the children in April. Do you know how I could get in touch with her?
Thank you, Michelle Prososki
