Cristie Kerr, from the United States, shot a sixty six (66) in the third round and a seventy (70) in the last round. She is the 62nd U.S. Woman’s Open Champion.
“In a riveting duel along the back nine of Pine Needles, Kerr broke a tie with an 18-foot birdie putt on the 14th and made the No. 1 player in the world come get her. Ochoa didn’t come close, losing hope with another pulled tee shot that cost her a bogey.”

Ms Kerr has been struggling with injuries the last two years. And she entered the U.S. Open with a cold. Nevertheless, she was steady and focused. Kudos to Ms Kerr.

Lorena Ochoa is mucho hotter than Kerr.

Congrats to Cristie, after having a cold and without a major, thats awsome for her .. but actually I think Lorena Ochoa is way better player.. consistent and she will win a major this year… so.. is just fact of time.. she already has 3 tournaments so.. isnt just casuality .. she is pretty good..
