Add Another Product to the Pet Food Recall List

This pet food recall fiasco has been dragging on for months - and there is another pet food to add to the recall list:
“Diamond Pet Foods is recalling one of its products in British Columbia for fear of melamine contamination.
Melamine, a chemical used to make plastics and fertilizers, was found in more than 100 brands of contaminated pet food that were recalled from the marketplace in Canada and the United States in mid-March.”

There are loads and loads of unhappy pet owners who are questioning the safety of all products in the pet food aisle. And this pet food recall just shows how unprotected the food products are for our pets - and for ourselves.

Time to vote with your wallets people!
Go ORGANIC, shop for LOCAL PRODUCE, that goes for pet food and your own food.
It’s a bit more expensive, but you’ll be playing safe in this era of outsourcing and corporate MALFEASANCE, and sending them a message that we’re not going along with their criminal incompetence.
When enough of us go organic, economics of scale will kick in and it will become cheaper and cheaper.
Heard the latest one about tainted toothpaste from China?
How many punches in the face takes to the consumers to wake up???

This is an alleged statement, but we bought Tetra Fin Goldfish flakes from the pet food store to feed our otherwise healthy goldfish. They became sluggish and unresponsive. This change in behavior was very abrupt. Now all five of them are dead. We have had these fish for months in a mature tank. We think that (allegedly) they have been poisoned (allegedly) in the same way that the seargents product (allegedly) poisoned the other fish.
