Pet Food Recall List Grows

The pet food recall list continues to grow. “Chenango Valley Pet Foods said it is expanding its pet food recall to include foods that do not contain the suspect rice protein concentrate but were manufactured during periods when the formulas were being processed. The company said the recall is precautionary, due to the possibility of cross contamination.”

Needless to say, it is still necessary to visit the site of your pet food manufacturer regularly. After weeks and weeks of this recall, there does not seem to be any legislative consequences for those companies that have not acted promptly. Perhaps the consequence will be that the consumers will speak with their purchasing power.

Please check the home page of the pet food that you are using now.
