Undoubtedly, everyone complains about the pace of technology. Spending your hard earned dollar for something ‘new’ will generate buyer’s regret a few weeks later, when something newer and supposedly better hits the market. And there are numerous examples of how the pace of technology has raced far ahead of legislation. However, Judge Peter Openshaw may have surprised a few people:
“”The trouble is I don’t understand the language. I don’t really understand what a Web site is,” he told a London court during the trial of three men charged under anti-terrorism laws.”

It was quite a candid and honest admission by the fifty nine year old judge. It makes one wonder how well lawmakers and people in the judiciary really grasp technology. It is a bit unsettling when a member of the court is just now wrestling with the concept of a Web site.
