Don’t Send Your Mother an E-Card

I know it is Mother’s Day coming. And the hackers out there know that it is Mother’s Day. It is a certainty that there will be some exploits and malware associated with the day. Send your mother an email note instead. Pass along the greetings of the day. Thank her for making sure you could read and be on the internet. And tell her not to open any Mother’s Day greeting cards - because you will not have sent it and malware is a terrible Mother’s Day present.

Ridiculous. There are many well-known greeting card sites.
If you send an email to your mother instead, send her links to such software as Spybot S&D and Grisoft’s AVG anti-virus software.

Unfortunately for the vast majority of mothers, the links are of no help. Your mom is just going to ask you to set them up, and then never use them anyways.
Steve has the right idea.
