All That Is Necessary for Identity Theft

With all the publicity and valid concern about identity theft, one would think that any data breach would be addressed immediately. Well, one could think that but, unfortunately, one would be wrong:
“Massachusetts Secretary of State William Galvin’s Web site includes an array of freely available personal information that can be used by identity thieves. Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, home addresses and phone numbers can be viewed with a few clicks.”

This is really incredibly irresponsible. Can anyone guess how quickly the first lawsuit will be filed?
