So from that perspective, I would guess Mircosoft don't give a rat's behind what someone in the government thinks because in a short time, all that's going to change and the newbies on Capitol Hill won't want to set the same example as their predacessors and they will probably buy twice as many copies of it as they need, knowing those dipsticks in Washington. Many of the software and hardware devices that I currently rely on for daily use are not supported in Vista, hence the ability to run Vista for some applications and good old WinXp for others would be a fantastic incentive to purchase the "less expensive" Vista license. It would be a shame if all of their current Xp users could continue productivity without spending hundreds of dollars buying newer versions of system components and software.
