Congressman Delivers A Petition Bearing More Than 100,000 Names To Impeach Bush

I want to start off by telling all of you that this news story was blacked out by the mainstream media, SO YOU NEED TO READ THIS!
Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland, Ohio presented a petition bearing more than 100,000 names to the Speaker of the House urging that impeachment proceedings begin into the conduct of President Bush.
“With new disclosures that the Administration tried to cook the books at the CIA by creating a phony, forged link between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, We cannot step back and let this President escape accountability.”
The dramatic hearing on presidential crimes and abuses of power held on Friday by the House Judiciary Committee was both a staged farce, and at the same time, a powerful demonstration of the power of a grassroots movement in defense of the Constitution. It was at once both testimony to the cowardice and self-inflicted impotence of Congress and of the Democratic Party that technically controls that body, and to the enormity of the damage that has been wrought to the nation’s democracy by two aspiring tyrants in the White House. Mainstream media outlets have blacked out news of impeachment. Incredibly, the New York Times, for example, has not even reported on Friday’s hearing, even as a news “brief.” Those news organizations, like the Washington Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer, that did report on the hearings did so only in short, inside articles. Though the hearing was aired in full on C-Span (and is still available for download), many Americans don’t even know it happened.

I saw it reported on Fox, Cnn, CBS, my local papers et al.. There was no blackout. Are you saying that Bush and Chaney will refuse to leave office next January? Declare Martial Law? The elections canceled?
Dennis Kucinich is a loon. The reason there will be no impeachment because there were no grounds. It’s that simple. They aren’t nationalizing media, rounding up citizens. There have been no widespread abuses of the Patriot Act that I’m aware of, and trust me, if there was there is no end of media that will gleefully jump on it.
He was forced to deal with a situation not faced by a President for a couple of centuries . That was followed by anthrax mailed to Government officials.
Saddam could have allowed inspectors back in and comply with the terms of the agreement he signed to keep from getting ousted after he invaded Kuwait.
You might disagree with his decisions, but he did nothing impeachable. He had to cleanup after the lollipop and tsk,tsk foreign policy of Clinton. Just like Reagan did after Carter.

No, they won’t refuse to leave office, but just because the elections in the United States are coming up doesn’t mean that Bush shouldn’t be impeached! Bill got impeached for a blow job! Why shouldn’t this guy get it for mass murder! And by the way: Saddam was a bastard, but he was the US’s BASTARD!
