New iPhone Coming This Christmas
Well not exactly a “new” iPhone, but a new color is in the works for the iPhone 3G come this Decemeber, says MacBlogz:
MacBlogz has learned through an unconfirmed source that a possible red iPhone 3G may be slated for a holiday release in attempts to boost sales.
Seeing that the new iPhone 3G has thrown away the metal backing for a plasic hard cover, Apple can do what they please in terms of color choice with their iPhones. Plus, this would be perfect for Apple to team-up with (PRODUCT)RED once again, as it has done in the past with its iPod nano (8GB model) and iPod shuffle (1GB model). Here is an artists rendition of the red iPhone 3G:
Personally, I am not going to buy a flaming red iPhone. I haven’t purchased an iPhone yet (I currently have a BlackBerry 8300), but I am willing to receive any at Christmas (hint)! Apple should definitely work on tuning their color choices, because the white iPhone ain’t that pretty, and to be honest, I would only consider purchasing a black iPhone at the moment. But I am sure many more interesting colors will come along. Apple can’t live in black & white much longer, so diversify! Maybe Apple will release a lime green version of the iPhone to match my moms Versace glasses :P (and no, she wouldn’t let me post a picture)!
