Obama’s YouTube Secrets Unveiled

It was a close match against Hillary Clinton for Obama during debates and campaigning in reality, but online, it was a whole different story. Obama literally destroyed Clinton when it came to the quality of online videos and the views he obtained from them, such as the ones on his official website and on his YouTube campaign account. How did he do it? Strategically, professionally and with the help of 32-year-old Arun Chaudhary, Obama’s director of field video production, who helped the democratic senator post more than 1,100 posted videos and obtain 14.8 million views on YouTube alone. Chaudhary did this when hired by Obama to shoot, edit and post the videos.Rather than Hillary’s lazy approach of getting only 1 person to film her at campaign stops,  Chaudhary always had at least 3 cameras on Obama during his speeches. This not only meant better angles of the possible president, but gave viewers of his YouTube hits a broader insight into the world of Barack Obama. But the crew didn’t stop there. They were also quick to upload videos: in some cases only taking 19 minutes to fully edit and upload a speech. The use of email, RSS feeds and social networks like FriendFeed and Twitter were also used to give up-to-date news and the location of the senator. These feeds also told people when new videos of Obama were uploaded to YouTube.I must commend Senator Obama & Mr. Chaudhary on their enthusiastic thinking that lead to the victory of the online campaign for the democratic race, and the one in the real world too. Here is a YouTube video example of the work put into Obama’s videos:

But it isn’t over. Senator McCain has the backing of one man… a man with many supporters of his own who are willing to help the editing process of McCain’s videos.
The man I am talking about is Stephen T. Colbert, just incase you wanted to know. ;)
