Partygoers Are Blind After Russian Laser Show

Many people have either lost partial vision or have gone completely blind after a Russian laser show in Kirzhach, 50 miles (80 km) from Moscow. Approximately 12 people have been confirmed hospitalized because of the laser show report Moscow officials. According to a Russian newspaper, another 17 have registered at another hospital because of blindness accruing in both of their eyes due to their retinas being burned. This is what a Russian doctor has to say about the case:
”They all have retinal burns, scarring is visible on them. Loss of vision in individual cases is as high as 80 percent, and regaining it is already impossible.”
This goes to show that their is an actual reason they put precautionary warnings on lasers. I know people who point lasers right into their eye and bloat about being impervious to the hazardous effects of the ray. Here’s a video showing what partygoers experience at the laser shows:
