HTC Touch Diamond Gets FCC Approval

Just a follow up on a story:

In my last story about the HTC Touch Diamond, I talked about the advantages it would have over the new iPhone 3G (pertaining to its monthly rates in Canada). Today, the FCC approved the HTC Touch Diamond which is, for the moment, only announced for one wireless provider in North America, Telus (but said to be ready for Sprint to announce as well). In the FCC files of the iPhone killer, there were several tests on the phone’s WiFi capabilities, but that doesn’t really matter seeing that it will probably be disabled on the phone anyway. Verizon is also expected to pick up the HTC Touch Diamond. Telus is expected to come out with the Diamond later this summer.
