I was Busy!

I was busy the past day or so. I will now be writing some more posts.

No more Windows XP

Microsoft has told OEMS that it will stop making copies of Windows XP on June 30,2008. What will everyone do now? I would suggest to go out and purchase a copy of Windows XP while it is still available or you will be stuck with the great wonderful Vista. 

Flash Dives

If you make documents and then have to copy it on a another computer, a flash drive is a good gadget for you. They come is all sorts of sizes, shapes, color, and capacities. The most popular is a 1 GB drive. 

Make your own Comic Strip

If you like to read the comics in the sunday newspaper, a website called Bit Strips might a good website for you. It allows you to create characters and place them in comic strips.

USB Hubs

If you are like most geeks, you probably have many USB devices. Once you get too many USB gadgets you will need more USB ports on your computer. An easy solution to this problem is to purchase a USB hub.  A USB hub plugs into one port and splits it into four or more additional USB ports. 

Inkjet printers vs. Laser printers

INKJET 

Most inkjet printers are inexpensive, most sell for $20.00 - $150.00.
Ink cartridges are inexpensive upfront, but they need replaced frequently. 
Inkjet printers have great print quality on new cartridges, but print quality dramatically decreases as the cartridge ages. 

LASER

Most monochrome (black only)  printers are expensive, most sell for $100.000 - $500.00
Most color laser printers are very expensive, even the cheaper of all are priced between $500.00 - $800.00.
