If you are like most people most likely you have a wireless home network. Here are some tips to keep it safe and secure:

1. Enable WPA security - don’t use the WEP security it is very easy to hack. 
2. Make your encryption key strong - don’t use the obvious like your pets name or your address or street name. 
3. Place the router in the centre of your home - this keeps most of the signal from reaching your neighbors. 
4. Turn off your router when it is not in use for extended periods of time. This sounds foolish, but it is the best method of wireless security.

If you keep these things in mind you will not have to worry about hackers getting their hands on your private files and pictures.
