This post by Chris Pirillo was more on the Mac Fan Boy side. Pirillo is showing you freeware that makes Mac feel like the Windows user experience.  He is trying to make you switch because he did and he thinks everyone should have a Mac. All that Pirillo talks about anymore is Mac OS X this, Mac OS X that - what the hell? Pirillo is a good example of your typical rich bitch Mac fanboy. Just because Windows Vista crashed once he went and ran to Mac.

I am not telling you to be a Winodws  fanboy; I just stated that Chris is your typical “switch from Vista to Mac” I remember the good old days when Pirillo used to talk about both platforms and not write 100s of reasons to switch to Mac OS X. His chatroom is meant for “typical tech talk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” but nowadays it’s more like Mac tech talk. Don’t have a Mac? Get the hell out of the room.

Now I must say I don’t have a problem with Pirillo using a Mac (and if I did there is nothing I could do). He just needs to quiet down about switching to Mac. After a while you get tired of hearing Pirillo talk about Mac only. If Pirillo likes Macs so much why doesn’t he do an ad on TV about switching to Mac? I haven’t seen a post from Pirillo about Windows in a good few months.

To please the audience, Pirillo needs to post and talk about all platforms: Linux, Windows, and OS X. Now I am not saying to go with either operating system nor am I trying to be a Windows fanboy. Chris Pirillo just needs to quiet down about switching to Mac.  If we want to switch to Mac we will; we don’t need some geek who happened to stumble upon a Mac to tell everyone to switch to what he uses.

50 Reasons is more than enough to to promote Apple. Chris Pirillo is taking advantage of his popularity on the Internet to have everyone switch to Mac just because he uses a Mac and likes it doesn’t mean everyone else has to switch. I am not trying to be on the Mac or Windows side of the conflict; I am just telling you my opinion about Chris Pirillo.
