Windows 7 Family Pack Licensing Leaked?

Pricing details of Microsoft’s planned foray into family licensing of its Windows operating system have apparently been leaked to the web.
Online retailer ExperCom has a list price of $136.95 for the Windows 7 Home Premium family pack, permitting up to three product activations of the software in a single family home.
This pricing would make Windows 7 even cheaper than the current $49.99 special pre-order price for home users requiring 3 licenses of the operating system. The family pack works out at about $45.33 if you have a need for 3 separate installations.
The 5 user Mac OS X family pack retails at $199.99. But how many families typically have five separate Apple Mac computers in their homes requiring OS licenses? I think the Microsoft deal makes more sense, and will likely help generate some decent retail sales of the operating system for a change.
Given how pre-orders of Windows 7 have been dominating the software sales chart on Amazon, Microsoft seems to be striking a lot of the right chords this time.

Family packs are a good idea. It is better to pre-buy it for $49.
