Welcome to my blog!

Hey now! This is the first of what I hope will be many posts in the future at my tech blog home on Lockergnome.
Having followed the work of Chris Pirillo for about a year now, I decided to take the plunge this past weekend and create my little home on his thriving social media network.
I’m going to use this post to briefly introduce me.
I’m 28. I live in London, in the UK, although I spend a fair bit of time overseas. My second home has become Buenos Aires in Argentina where I spend an ever increasing amount of time in a rented apartment.
I love to mix business with travel. While taking my “virtual office on the road”, I’ve spent time exploring Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, New York, Barcelona, Paris, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Santiago - among other cities and town on the way.
I’ve been a technology enthusiast for the past couple of decades. It started out after I got to play on one of the early generation Atari gaming machines at a friends house. I was immediately drawn by the prospect of bringing the arcade to my own home. My first machine was a real personal computer. It was an Amstrad CPC 464 (if I’m not mistaken) with a cutting edge tape drive used to store media and green screen monitor. Since then, I’ve been through an Amstrad CPC 6128, Amiga 64, Windows 3.1 486 Desktop, and a Windows 98 PC running a P4 Pentium.
My current machines include Dells running Windows XP, Vista and Ubuntu Linux.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog!
