The software scans your source disk (the disk where lost or corrupted files were stored) and finds file fragments - different parts of Microsoft Word documents, physically stored on the disk. The file system is ignored, allowing DOC Regenerator to work with all versions of FAT and NTFS, and recovers documents even from lost partitions, deleted partitions, or reformatted disks. After scanning is finished, analyzing by means of Microsoft Word begins. At this stage the system actually converts file fragments to original files that may be saved to disk.
