Do we really think that they are going to develop from the ground up 100%. Are they going to take a chapter from the Apple book and try a unix/linux/bsd kernel based OS.

Oooo, I like the idea of change. I am not a MS hater really, I am just sick of Windows. If they decide to really go through with this then I am excited just at the possibilities.

Microsoft loves to keep things proprietary, so despite the common sense of using a proven kernel and elaborating on it, I’m sure they’ll cobble up something from scratch. They seem to love reinventing the same wheel over and over.

On the other hand, who cares as long as it works and isn’t a bloated mess like every Windows release since 98SE?

Personally, I think it would be brilliant if they made a Linux distro.

Thier current way of thinking is getting boring.
