Hah! It’s funny, but just from reading the headline to this entry, I thought to myself, “wow, that’s just like the old Weekly World News!”

Bob Lind (yes, that Bob Lind) used to be an editor at WWN. I’ve known him for years, and for some years we were neighbors. He told me they’d come in and sit around drinking coffee and writing down everyone’s crazy ideas. Then they’d vote, and the craziest got written and published.

I was featured one time as an anthropologist who learned to communicate with ants. Would have probably gotten me axed from the AAA, if I’d still been a member. (Those ants were really interesting though; taught me a lot about the work ethic…)

Fox News is King of spin of doctoring, and O’Reilly is the Queen! If you doubt that just look at the story they broke about the “To Hell with America” speech! Anderson Cooper posted most of the original speech on his website, and anyone that had taken the time to read the full speech would immediately understand the point that was being made. The point that was being made was that the American government has gone out of its way to suppress and medically test black people in the past.
