E-Mail:

What If Gmail Had Been Designed by Microsoft?

What would be the differences in that web mail client for users today? What if we apply some of the same design rules that brought us Hotmail, for instance? …      What If Gmail Had Been Designed by Microsoft?

I’ve been using PC’s since the mid 80’s, and like everyone else have tried tons of software over the years.

I don’t understand bashing Microsoft, Google, IBM, Adobe or any other manufacturer of hardware or software. If you don’t care for a product, vote with your dollars and use a different one… we do have choices.

I use G-Mail and Hotmail. Personally, I don’t like web based e-mail and only use it when it fits best - primarily when I’m not using my own PC - and I’m glad to have those tools available when I need them.

If Microsoft had designed G-Mail, I would bet there would be an option to use folders. Note to Google: you have a good product in G-Mail. Millions of us prefer folders. Why not give the user an option… how hard would that be?
