Save images from Safari on iPhone 2.0

Here is a neat feature I discovered this morning that can be done on both the iPod Touch and the iPhone. Inside of Safari you can now save images on websites. While this feature is hardly a key feature in the new firmware it is very useful for saving images from the web and later using them as a wallpaper or even assign them to a contact.
Here’s the how-to.
First off open Safari and navigate to a website with a picture you would like to save.
This website has great iPhone Wallpapers, link
Next navigate to a picture you would like to save and click on the picture until you see this.
Now all you have to do is click save and the image is added to your pictures library. This is a very simple thing to do and it is great to have on the iPhone and iPod Touch. So what little features have you found on the new firmware? let us know via a comment.

That is so cool! I first got the iPhone when it originally debued. I always thought it was a must -have feature. I had a Blackberry a while back, and you could save images off the web on it. I think it was the only thing that was missing from the iPhone. I’m so happy now! Thanks for the tip.
