Weird bug from Tiger still in Leopard

I rarely have had any problems with the two Macs that I have bought in the past year, and if there were any problems it was minimum at best, this is one of those. For some reason on my old iMac G4 if I had my wallpaper set to change pictures every five seconds after the first picture it would show the second picture for a second then go to the third picture, and stay for five seconds. I thought this was a weird isolated problem that I would never see again.
That was up until today.
I went to my new school’s webpage where they have pictures change every other second on the front page and today for what ever reason I encountered that same error! I thought maybe this would go away with a page refresh, no sir. Now after this I decided to use Safari 3 and the same problem. So I finally I restarted my Macbook, and now no probmes, pictures change just fine. This is very strange because this is the first time I have seen a reoccurring bug in OS X.
I am just curious is anyone else out there effected by this bug? Or is it just me? Or do you have any other problems with OS X, let us know via a comment!
