Ever wanted to send a tweet to Twitter from your phone but couldn’t text at that moment? Well Jott is the service for you. Its a free service that lets you call from your cell phone and say “Twitter” and then say what you want to tweet, and it will automatically convert it to text, all at no charge. Jott does manny more things too! Like you can text, e-mail, and even add events to your Google Calendar.
How well does it work?
First off you have to sign up for a free account at Jott’s website and it will give you a code to call in to their number so you can confirm you phone. Once confirmed your cell phone will be activated and every time you call you will be asked what you would like to do, ie Twitter, say someones name to text. Now all you do is say something like “Twitter” and it will ask you to say something, you say your thing and it will add it to Twitter. For a quick review I have only tried one tweet and it came out so so. I tried to say “Listening to Circa Survive” but it came out as “Listening to Circus Survive.” To its credit I did not speak that clearly. Text messages work just as well but I have not tried slang or text talk so I cannot judge it fully.
Check out Jott for five minutes of fun, but for now I will use Ping.fm for all of twittering.

Check out http://m.slandr.net . I’m using it on my Blackberry and am loving it. It has all of the functionality that the normal web interface has in a compact interface.
