As a fan of the old arcade fighters like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and the greatest game ever Marvel Vs Capcom, MUGEN has been a god-send for us fans of the genre. So what is Mugen? Its a fighting engine that lets you add in your own characters, there are plenty floating on the net from other games too, and also allows you to add stages and different fighting modes to the game.

The best part of the game is its customization. You can download all of the Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Marvel, and even Family Guy characters to play with, and yes they come with their classic moves. There is even a version of the game that features Mortal Kombat Fatalities.

The engine hasn’t been update in some time, since the Windows 98 days, the game is still fun and highly addictive but its time for an upgrade.
